About Us

7,000 Oysters a Week. Zero Shortcuts.

Angelo's has been a neighborhood fixture since 1974, built on old-world Italian recipes that have stayed at the heart of the kitchen through every chapter of the restaurant's life. When Craig Jones purchased it in 2013, he honored those roots and pushed further — adding char-grilled oysters, balsamic-glazed ribs, and a cocktail program that's become a draw in its own right. Today the oyster bar alone moves over 7,000 oysters a week, sourced fresh from both coasts, making it one of the most active shellfish programs anywhere on the Front Range. The result is a restaurant that feels familiar and a little surprising at the same time — exactly the way a great neighborhood place should.

  • A Littleton Original Since 1974

Angelo's has anchored the same neighborhood for over five decades. When Craig Jones took over in 2013, he kept the old-world Italian recipes at the heart of the kitchen and added modern touches — char-grilled oysters, balsamic-glazed ribs, a rotating craft cocktail list — that gave the place a second life without losing what made it worth saving.

  • An Oyster Bar Worth the Drive

Angelo's moves over 7,000 oysters a week from both coasts, ensuring the rotation stays fresh and the selection stays honest. Raw on the half shell or char-grilled in one of four house preparations, the oyster bar is reason enough to make the trip to Santa Fe Drive.

  • One of Denver's Best Happy Hours

Happy hour runs 3–6 PM and again from 8:30 PM to close, every single day. Mondays go further: Mollusk Monday is all-day dine-in, with $7 bowls of mussels and $17 linguine and clams. Regulars plan their week around it.

★★★★★
Absolute favorite Italian spot in Colorado now. I had raw and charbroiled oysters for an appetizer, Lobster Gnocchi for dinner and Crème Brûlée for dessert. Everything was so delicious! Their prices are very reasonable for quality Italian too. I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

★★★★★
This was the only meal I had that was worth mentioning. The lobster gnocchi was so damn good. I could have also eaten 30lbs of their meatballs. Go see them, they deserve your business. If I'm ever back in town, I know where I will be eating.

The food was amazing! We ordered the smoke salmon mezzaluna and the Gorgonzola steak fettuccini! It's simply lit which gives it a very intimate feel. I highly recommend this place!

★★★★★
The oysters, both raw and baked, are so fresh and decadent. The pizzas have unique flavors. The calamari was also delicious. The manager always comes by to check in, the food comes out quickly, and the atmosphere is fun. We always call ahead to get our name on the priority list.
